New Location Starting February 2019!  Diamond Knot Brewpub at 5602 232nd St SW Mountlake Terrace, with easy access off the freeway and ample parking, will have you deal-lighted
and don't worry, the breakfast options will still be deal-licious!

You aren't going to want to miss a single meeting. Gena Horiatis' theme this year is "Ordinary People Doing Extraordinary Things!" The speaker each month will be a REAPS member offering sage advise on how they found their niche and success, so you can follow in their footsteps. Gurus are awesome, but isn't it assuring to hear from our own and know - if this guy did it, SO CAN I! New and experienced investors are bound to walk away with eureka moments to light their path. Of course, Gena will continue her popular Mind your Mindset and Teaching Tips.

So - great food, better space, killer speakers from our own family, and wisdom from Gena...what are you waiting for!!!!!

Our North Meals N Deals is held monthly on the first Saturday and is open to the public.  Our MC is Gena Horiatis!  This event is FREE for members and $15 for guests. Registration is required to attend. Breakfast is optional, but we designed these meetings so you can come hungry and network with a smaller group of members who live in your community!

If you have never attended one of our events, then just register online and use promo code "guest" to attend your first meeting for free. If you don't register online then please plan to pay $20 at the door when you arrive.

Doors open at 8:00am for networking, meeting begins at 8:30am.

February Guest Jeremy MacConnell

Jeremy MacConnell has been attracted to real estate since before he graduated from high school. He started in Real Estate by flipping homes at 18 years of age after reading the book "Rich Dad Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki. Then became a Real Estate Broker with a mission to help others learn to invest as well. He has extracted experience and knowledge from some of the top investors in our real estate market. Providing him opportunity and experience in strategies like flipping, buying and holding, wholesaling, sourcing off market deals, and buying and selling with retail clients. He currently is growing a rental portfolio building cash flow properties in a few different markets including WA, OH and Las Vegas.

Jeremy will cover:

- My introduction to Real Estate investing prior to the market crash and current investing strategy.
- Finding my niche in Real Estate, examples of some of the properties I have flipped and my rentals. Also, I will go over some of the tools I have used in the process.
- Discussing my current niche in Real Estate providing examples to follow the theme of the topic. Including my wholesaling business, buying rentals and some tools that have helped me.
- The importance of finding your "WHY" for Real Estate investing. Covering how mindset, habits and taking action were the keys to finding my niche and allowed me to weather the storm of Real Estate investing.
- Opening up for any questions.

My mind your mindset will be: Look backwards to plan forward
My teaching tip will be: What can bestplaces.net do for you?

About Our Moderator...

Gena Horiatis was a stay-at-home mom and wife for twenty years after having a career at IBM. She was teaching piano lessons as two of her four children entered college; money became an issue.  She discovered real estate investing from an infomercial, got educated and changed her world!  She has done flips, rentals and lease options in her local and remote markets.  Her son John joined as her business partner, and she retired her husband, allowing him to pursue his passion for acting, while they live on passive income from rentals.  Loving to teach and give back, she has mentored new real estate investors around North America and abroad for the last five years. Gena, along with her colleague, Andrea Weule, are authors of the book A Time to Profit.  Their book and extensive online education can be found at their website www.atimetoprofit.com.
