Dave Billings is the owner and CEO of Key property Solutions, a home grown and family owned investment team. Dave has decade's worth of experience-Working as a teenager in his father’s contracting business, rehabbing numerous fix and flips and using creative real estate investing strategies. He holds a Masters Degree in Psychology which gives him a deep understanding of how to learn, discern and make use of motivation and emotion at the negotiating table. He's been fortunate to receive training and support from leading real estate experts in advanced techniques. In turn, he provides mentoring and training to other successful investors, when he can take the time away from growing his own team. He loves teaching investors how to comp their properties, negotiate, and plan their rehabs to maximize profit. He knows how to turn projects for profit, including transactions during the most rapid drops from our last market cycle. Dave has built multiple businesses from the ground up with experience managing millions of dollars each year AND he started his investing business just like most of you.  After sitting in REAP’S meetings, reading, and consuming other trainings, he finally made the decision to act and has never looked back on the hourly therapist job since. Because he took action, Dave has total control over his schedule and income. When not training students or negotiating great deals, Dave is snapping pictures from the sidelines of his daughters’ sporting events, camping with his family and friends, doing his best to put a dent in the local crab population, or at a poker table.

About Our Moderator...

Gena Horiatis was a stay-at-home mom and wife for twenty years after having a career at IBM. She was teaching piano lessons as two of her four children entered college; money became an issue.  She discovered real estate investing from an infomercial, got educated and changed her world!  She has done flips, rentals and lease options in her local and remote markets.  Her son John joined as her business partner, and she retired her husband, allowing him to pursue his passion for acting, while they live on passive income from rentals.  Loving to teach and give back, she has mentored new real estate investors around North America and abroad for the last five years.
