How to Build a Single Family Home Portfolio in Puget Sound with Funding from the State, End Housing Insecurity and Maximize Social Impact and Your Financial Bottom Line with Shared Housing

by Frank and Sherri Candelario PhD

Shared transitional housing is a model to end housing insecurity, provide a safe sober home and co-house people while benefiting the real estate investor.  Frank & Sherri will be  sharing their knowledge of shared housing and available state funding to start shared, transitional homes. Frank and Sherri own several million dollars of single family homes in Seattle where they have housed more than 500 people over the past five years as founders of Kate's House Foundation. Kate's Houses are the first accredited homes in Washington state.

They are national speakers as co-founders of Shared Housing Academy and they have shared this message of using real estate to impact housing insecurity throughout the US.

Their mission is to invest and get a great financial return but also provide an incredible service to others.

Sherri is a graduate of University of Washington Medical School with a doctorate in pharmacology.   Frank is a real estate broker for Best Choice Realty.  Both are real estate investors in high priced markets.  Sherri sits on the Board of Directors of WAQRR (Washington Affiliate of Quality Recovery Residences) and helps guide the legislature to fund for new houses for shared living people with housing insecurity.

They combine their knowledge of best practices for sober homes with their real estate skills.   They have built a large portfolio to provide superior shared housing for accredited sober homes, vets and displaced women in the greater Puget Sound area.  Best of all, they are funded by state and local government  contracts and will share the secret on how you can be funded too.

Sherri and Frank were instrumental in bringing national accreditation standards to Washington State  and have helped advise on legislation to provide millions of dollars in funding to landlords and real estate investors interested in shared housing. They look forward to sharing with you in - person soon!
